Whisky Pete's, Primm, NV
Well, after Alex requested this model over and over again, I decided to make a simple model. No this isn't my very best work, but considering that I live in Alabama and I don't have the money to go to Primm whenever I need to. So I found a picture and made what I could.

Stolen Terrain... really? COME ON PEOPLE!!!!
Ok, now I can see people stealing building models, but terrain... really? Ok so I made a model of the 'Comfort Inn & Suites' in Birmingham, Alabama. then someone else made the same thing. Different model, same terrain. And I mean EXACTLY the same! here are the photos of comparison. My model has softened terrain, theirs does not. My model is on the bottom. There is a red circle around the area that makes it obvious that they are the same.

Modeler of the Week: Antonio G. (Antonio Grasso Cristuado)
I know he also has the 'Model of the Week' but he is an amazing modeler! He will be one of the few that will achieve both, at the same time! Congratulations!

San Francisco Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA.
My New model that I recovered from my lost files on my computer! It took me a while to make... and I mostly used street view for the textures and one picture from Wikipedia for the tower. My computer seems to be working fine now and i can continue modeling things, but save them on a flash drive from now on!

Black Background on textures!!! HELP!!!!!
The background is supposed to be transparent not black!!! I don't know what to do!!! and yes thy are PNG.
Models of The Summit: Coming Soon! Part: 2
Well, looks like some more snow days out of school in Central Alabama! So I have a ton of free time! So I have been working my butt off making these models of The Summit in Birmingham! I will only use the best of textures to model with! Right now I am working on the sign that welcomes you to The Summit when you drive in. but I have a problem, whenever I use textures with a transparent background, the background turns black... Its really hard to fix... I will post a photo of what I'm talking about later. But here are some photos of the real thing, and my model (Without the black background).
Models of The Summit: Coming Soon!
If you've ever watched my Youtube videos, you should know that I love The Summit! It's one of my favorite places! Mainly, because the only Apple store in my area is there... but anyway, I spent a total of 3 (scattered) days taking photos for this series of models! but that was in August... So i need to use them sooner or later! but there is a problem, in the area Google Earth has a ton of inaccurate terrain!!! so I had to take it into my own hands and make the CORRECT terrain. Hopefully Google will understand when judging it! Here are some images with what I have done so far!

You may not see these models for a while, because I will upload them at the same time to prevent gaps.
IMPORTANT: These models might be uploaded to H.S. Visual 3D, instead of my personal account! We will be using them to show the owners what we are capable of when we sell them the modeling (3D Advertising) Package.

2011 MultiModelers Competition Coming soon!
Yes, the MultiModelers Competition is back again for another chance at creating greatness! Soon, it will be officially announced on the 3D Warehouse on my page and a few others! There are a few things that will be different from last year's competition, We will be working together in ONE BIG group! And we will each model a separate piece of the building complex. I have not picked which building we will model. It will most likely be a casino or shopping mall, you know, something big! That way we all will get to model each part equally! I will be participating in it as well! Stay tuned for the big announcement! Oh! You will have to submit a geo model for you qualification model! You heard it here first!
This has nothing to do with SketchUp but...
O.K. The iPhone 4 is now available to Verizon users... wow... Its amazing, unless you have AT&T... this summer when Apple announces the next iPhone, they will most likely ditch AT&T! So what does that mean to me, well, I will have to pay transitioning fees for me and my family to switch to Verizon... Because of my job, I need an iPhone, a working one. So in order to do that, I will need to switch to Verizon this summer... Tell me what you think about this whole thing in the comments below!!!

My NEW Bellagio Fountains!!
Well, I love my new Bellagio Fountains! I might redo the whole Hotel/Casino complex, I said might. So don't get your hopes up for it too soon! I have been getting mixed reviews for them, some saying they are good, and some saying they lack "Realism". Well, ART has no limits, you can do whatever you want with it, and I chose to express myself with my fountains! If you like them or have other suggestions for future fountains, feel free to comment below! I would love to hear your opinions!

Locking Models...
Locking models... Why do it? Umm... Because it's smart!!! I will be locking many of my models that I upload from now on, mainly because I don't want all of my hard work to be stolen! I love modeling, it brings me joy! But having it stolen is hurtful and makes me want to quit. If locking my models is the only thing that keeps me from quitting, then so be it! So, please no asking me why Have I been locking my models, because I just gave you an answer!

My NEW Casino Royale!!!
Well, I have finally done it! I have made what I have wanted to for months! Casino Royale in Las Vegas, Nevada. Whenever we would go to Vegas, we would stay at the Venetian, which if you have ever been, is right next to Casino Royale. I remember when we ate breakfast in Denny's every morning there. Ahh, it was amazing how it is so small but when you are there it feels like you are in one of the many "Mega-Casinos" in Vegas!
I'm very proud of my model,it took me a while to make it, I stayed up the 4:30 am just getting halfway done with it! When I was in Vegas in 2009 I took a few photos of the exterior but not many, when I referee back to use them, well, they weren't what I needed! So, I did what any other modeler would do, well at least I would, I used Google's "Street View" and it turned out pretty good. Of course I had to edit some of them so they would be good enough to go into the model and look high quality. I think this is one of my favorite models I have done in Vegas because it's so different. Feel free to click the link, if it works...
